“The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon.”

How do we work together

I love the creative process!  The energy in a room full of creative people exchanging ideas, brainstorming solutions, asking questions...  it is energizing!  I enjoy working with a client that is both passionate about their story and committed to the best possible way to tell it.

Typically when I am contacted by a potential client regarding a project, they might have a few ideas of what they want as an end product.  Sometimes it is a series of images, sometimes a video piece, sometimes a combination of the two.  On rare occasions they have the whole thing worked out but the norm is for them to have a general idea and need a lot of help getting from the basic concept all the way to a finished product.  This is where I come in.

I have worked with many clients through the questions that must be answered in order to put the final plan in place.  So we do the hard work of looking at our audience, at how the final piece will be used, at what secondary uses it may have, at what and how to communicate best.  We talk through the issues of logistics to bring these visual pieces together and finally we make decisions as to how to most effectively proceed so that the goals are met and we are positioned well to produce the best piece of visual storytelling possible for their intended use.

The glamorous life of documentary work.  This was  downpour in Peru.  My camera stayed dry...   I did not.

“Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make, but about the stories you tell.”

 – Seth Godin

From start to finish the work is done in collaboration between my client and myself.  There are no surprises, there are no curve balls.  We keep communication very clear so that the entire project flows as seamlessly as possible.

So what is the story you can't wait to share with the world?

I would love to help make that possible.

Let's get started...  Let me show you a PDF brochure of information that will explain just a bit more of what it is like working with me and also the basic information I will need in order to us to move forward with your project.
